Find the time that works for everyone.

Add 2–8 cities, set each person’s local work hours, pick a date and a meeting length. HourAlign shows the windows where everyone is inside their own working day — with real local dates, daylight-saving changes and cross-day shifts.

How it works

  1. 1. Add people

Choose 2–8 cities or IANA time zones and one work window for each person, in their own local time.

  2. 2. Pick a date and length

The date is the first city’s local day; every minute of that day is tested with each person’s real local date and clock.

  3. 3. Share the window

Copy everyone’s local time, share a link that reopens the same plan, or download a single calendar event.

Questions

How do work hours apply in other time zones?

Each person’s hours are their own daily local window. Every minute of the first city’s chosen day is checked against each person’s actual local date and time, so an Auckland Tuesday can line up with a Los Angeles Monday and still use Auckland’s own window.

Does it handle daylight saving time?

Yes. Days are counted by real instants, not fixed 24-hour blocks, so a baseline day can be 23, 23.5, 24, 24.5 or 25 hours long. Nonexistent and repeated local times are resolved through your browser’s IANA data.

What if there is no common window?

The result says so plainly. “No common work window” means the entered hours never overlap; it never claims anything about anyone’s real calendar. A separate result tells you when hours overlap but no stretch reaches the meeting length.

Is my data uploaded?

No. Everything runs in your browser with no account and no server calls. A share link keeps only the date, meeting length and work windows in the URL fragment.

Does it know about holidays or weekends?

Not yet. Every day is treated the same; weekends and public holidays are up to you.

HourAlign computes entirely in this page and is free to use in the browser. It does not read your calendar, ask for an account or send your plans anywhere. Work hours describe accepted time ranges, not confirmed availability.
